Abstract

In recent years, the rapid development of 3D technology also provides a new direction for the preservation and display of traditional museums. Especially, 3D modeling technology and 3D scan are active in various directions such as recording, storage, analysis and repair. This study reports the Blacksmith in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, which was digital recorded and Virtual Represented by 3D Digital Data. Its purpose is to derive the direction of digital display in the museum. In the future, through 3D modeling technology, as to stimulate people's interest in Blacksmith culture.
