This paper reports on the improvement of the manufacturing process using digital fabrication in the cloisonne technique called "Shotai Shippou (Enamell-Prica-Jules)" in Japan. Specifically, by repeating the trial and error process of making and testing jigs and tools that could directly solve the causes of the cloisonne failure that had been raised by the experience of the craftsmen, we clarified the causal relationship and found a way to improve it. Finally, a method was established to determine the optimal temperature and angle at which the base of copper would melt and to create an optimal holding device to output in digital fabrication.
