Consideration of the Tendency in Drinking Opportunities of Sake among Young People

A Study on the questionnaire survey of young people in their 20s and 30s living in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture

Abstract

In Japan, sake consumption has been declining since the late 1970s. On the other hand, there are a certain number of young people drinking sake with interests in Nagaoka City. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of young people in their 20s and 30s living in Nagaoka City to analyze young people's drinking opportunities who prefer sake. As a result, we found that about 80% of the respondents drink sake themselves.
