In previous Sitcom studies, the author has stated that laugh tracks are frequently used in the United States, and that subtitles are used as a supplement in China to facilitate understanding. The background of the difference in laughter between the United States and China is considered to be an important factor in the difference in thinking habits as a national character. In this study, we analyzed how differences in thinking habits affect the differences in sitcom laugh track insertion points from multiple perspectives.
