There is various historical sculpture in Japan, but the disappearance of the relics has become a problem due to lack of management and deterioration. In this research, I promoted “Hands-on exhibition” and “Museum merchandise production” of historical sculpture in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, utilizing 3D digital sculpture technology. Also, to make design proposals to derive the creation of guidelines for raising interest. I conducted a trial of exhibitions to gain new knowledge and share them through a survey of historical sculpture. As a result, it became clear that “Senses of Sight and Touch” deepen the interest and understanding of historical sculpture.
