Host: Japanese Society for the Science of Design
This paper aims to seek a node between design activities and visual media whilst clarifying the characteristics of the utilization of video/film in a wide range of creative activities in modern times. Through this work, the author will clarify the promising usefulness of using video/film, especially in design activities, with reference to the project in Inujima, Okayama Prefecture, JAPAN, which the author and design students of Kyoto Institute of Technology have been practicing since 2016.
