A Proposal for a tool to stimulate interest in Japanese culture and Art -Using Buddhist Statues-

Abstract

Japan's traditional culture and art are wonderful assets. In this study, I focused our research on Buddhist statues. First, we conducted a case study on Buddhist statues and extracted the elements necessary for proposing a tool. From this, I proposed a Bonnou Notebook. I had the subjects use it for a certain period of time. A questionnaire was used to measure interest in Buddhist statues and Japanese culture and art, and an interview survey was conducted to verify the effectiveness of the handbook.
