An Attempt at Solely Approach to Promote the Social Practice of Design

Abstract

Today's design Students are required to have practical design skills to face society, and learn design methods to practice in society through group work. Against the background of a learning environment lacking in social experience, the author attempted a social practice design using Sapporo soft stone found in the Ishiyama area of Minami Ward, Sapporo City.Then, facing the materials found on site, he discovered the possibility of engaging with society by making things on my own.
