Abstract

We designed a decision-making toolkit to assist high school students when choosing their career path after graduation. By visualizing their thoughts about post-graduation careers, such as the options they have and the criteria they value, this toolkit helps students better understand their situation and communicate it to teachers and parents. Flexible and intuitive design of this toolkit facilitates rational career choices for all students, overcoming systematic problems in Japanese educational institutions.
