Research on Methodology of “Collaborative Knowledge Exploration” in Corporate Organizations

An Examination Based on the Case of the Circulation of Knowledge through “Vision sharing”

Abstract

This paper discusses the process of accumulating practical wisdom through “Collaborative Knowledge Exploration” in a corporate organization, using the reflection meeting of the “Vision sharing” project at the consulting firm MIMIGURI as a case study. As a result of this case study, it was suggested three environmental factors that in order to promote “Collaborative Knowledge Exploration” within an organization,(1)it is important to be open to knowledge by asking questions related to values, (2)to open each other’s knowledge in order for a chain of interpretations of knowledge to occur, and (3)to be created new interpretations of knowledge in a dialogue where we explore knowledge together.
