Tactile Arrows-DiGITS: Case Study for Emergency Route Guidanse

Abstract

This paper describes a case study of emergency route guidance, which is evolutional prototype of the previous proposal, with the following 3 points.

- Build an embankment, by sandwiching the retractable stopper placement area.

- Cover it with EVA sheet. That also functions as a hinge.

- Provide a "fin" made of EVA sheet by improving the hinge part of the conventional proposal.

And the paper also discusses the direction of the authors' future research by describing the reactions obtained from the public at the event.
