As part of the “Okayama Outreach Project” in 2022, this research involved the creation of novelty goods, namely the "BRAID BRACELET," with a specific target group of inbound tourists to Okayama. The bracelet, crafted from upcycled materials sourced from a textile dyeing and processing company in Okayama Prefecture, was designed to be utilized during sightseeing tours organized by Okayama Outreach, aiming to enhance the promotion of Okayama on an international scale. In 2023, during a sightseeing tour, we administered a questionnaire to gather evaluations of the finished product. The results indicated that the bracelet received a high rating as a souvenir.
