Abstract

The pet industry is booming, and pet medical care is increasingly in demand. Owners often turn to the internet for information when pets fall ill or show abnormal symptoms. However, many pet disease websites are cluttered, making it difficult for users to find the information they need. This study aims to enhance the interface design of pet disease websites to improve user experience and credibility in the information provided. Results indicate that Sippo performed better than Petwell regarding usability, font clarity, color scheme, and layout, garnering high credibility and satisfaction scores. Key findings include widening line spacing for clearer fonts and increased credibility, incorporating warm colors for a more appealing aesthetic, organizing symptoms by body parts for more straightforward navigation, images influencing user engagement, and the inclusion of professional institutions boosting website credibility.
