What is the intelligence of designers which conducting one's design development? And how can one explore and disclose it? The authors share these questions. In the fall 2020, to delve into answers to these questions, three researchers (authors for this paper) and three designers working in companies initiated a recurring dialogue activity called the "Reading group of own designing" place for reflecting on their respective design practices. This paper shows the activities undertaken, revealing what unfolds during these sessions. Additionally, it discusses how such activities are bringing about changes among the members and the reasons behind them, based on these occurrences.
