Abstract

In this study, experiments were conducted on two cases regarding the angle of the surface of the artifact and the area of contact of the base plate. The following observations were made: In overhang regions, the adhesion of the build plate and the presence of support material significantly influence the shape alteration. Deformation varies depending on the thickness of the artifact, with thinner objects experiencing more significant deformation. Moreover, since the degree of deformation varies with the thickness of the test specimen, it is believed that there may be an optimal thickness. The area of the bottom surface of the artifact and the applied load were found to have no relation to deformation.
