Structural Analysis of Design Requirements in European Honey Beehives

Abstract

In order to clarify the design requirements for the honeybee hive, the causal relationship was examined using graph theory. As a result of the analysis using the ISM method, the 45 design requirements consisted of 17 levels, including the ability to store an easily removable hive board inside the hive and the ability to expand or contract the internal space of the hive depending on the number of bees. It turned out that this is an important item to focus on.
