This study proposes an interaction between a dating app and a smartwatch to improve the chances of finding real-world friends. Current dating app interactions are primarily online and require users to open the app in order to get to know others. This method may cause users to miss many mutual friends and may provide few opportunities to meet others in the real world. Therefore, we designed a concept in which users simply set their own information and ideal partner criteria, and the system automatically finds people nearby and notifies them when both parties' criteria match. The system allows both parties to get to know each other immediately and to date in real time in safe and appropriate public places. After both parties have met, they can use their smartwatches to exchange social media activity with each other and document their encounters. It also provides photo verification and an emergency alert system, allowing users to use this function with peace of mind. Through these features, the system provides a new interactive way for users to improve their willingness and opportunity to find friends in the real world.
