Research on the Background of Product Development based on the Package Design of Travel Souvenirs

Abstract

In this study, we hypothesized that "package designs for travel souvenirs can be classified into two types: motifs and decorations, and that after tourists are attracted by elements other than travel souvenirs, package designs produced in the process of developing travel souvenirs are produced mainly for decorations" and verified this hypothesis using a questionnaire to companies. We conducted a questionnaire survey of companies to verify the hypothesis. As a result, the hypothesis was generally verified by the results of the questionnaire.
