Abstract
This study examines the effectiveness of offline ethnographic workshops in UX design education for mid-career professionals. Through analyzing reflections from a workshop in KDDI's X Design Master Course, the research highlights the significant impact of offline fieldwork on deepening user understanding, enhancing team collaboration, and improving service design skills. The findings demonstrate that offline ethnography fosters a unique learning experience, distinct from online methods, and significantly boosts participant engagement and practical skill development.
