Abstract
In modern society, finding time to “bo-tto” is challenging. This study explores the characteristics of sounds that induce a relaxed state, focusing on the flipping sound of a split-flap display. Using KJ analysis and frequency analysis, we examine similarities and differences between various soothing sounds. The results show that rhythmic yet slightly irregular sounds contribute to relaxation. Future research will evaluate subjective experiences and optimize sound properties to develop a product that enhances relaxation through auditory stimulation.
