Abstract

With the advancement of digital media, VTubers have emerged as an effective means of information dissemination and audience engagement. This study explored the potential of VTuber-led campus tour videos to support freshmen adaptation at National Taichung University of Education in Taiwan. An interactive video was produced featuring VTuber characters introducing campus facilities and student culture in an accessible format. To further enhance participation, activities were integrated into the experience. Initial responses showed increased engagement on social media, suggesting a positive impact on campus familiarity and sense of belonging. Future work will aim to refine the content and interaction design to evaluate the long-term educational benefits of integrating VTuber technology into student orientation programs.
