Abstract

In this presentation, we report on the results obtained from a mixed humanities/science course on the practice of teaching a course designed for students to learn technical and cultural aspects of robot technology as an education. Changes in the “Robot Culture” course, which has been offered since the 2021 academic year, could be observed in students affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Education. Specifically, they began to mention the need to be attentive to the feelings of users in situations where robots interact with people, and they also began to try to explain the technical mechanisms. However, it was difficult to include sustainable mechanisms and relationships.
