This paper presents the design and evaluation of a user interface supporting abnormal situation management in
drone operations. The proposed UI aims to reduce operators’
cognitive load and support appropriate responses during
abnormal situations. Based on prior studies, a warning method
integrating situation explanation, action instruction, and
reassurance is developed. An experimental system implementing the proposed UI is constructed and evaluated through a comparative experiment with novice operators. The results demonstrate that the proposed UI effectively improves situation understanding, reduces anxiety, and promotes calm and appropriate operational behavior.
