Abstract

The purpose of this research is the development of a new projection system on outside walls of architecture that have a rough shape or moving characters. It has been said that to project characters and shapes on the rough wall is very difficult. Hence, we tried to make it possible in this article by using a computer and a projector. In such a case, it is necessary to consider the state of the wall, the limited area of projection, and the size etc. of the character to project. However, a smooth white wall might not be necessarily available. Here, an experiment was conducted that concerns decipherment to expand the possibility of the method of efficient transmission of the character message. The main results are as follows, 1) On 640×480 screen of which rate of concealment is 11%, 58-point or bigger kinetic characters did not improve their legibility. 2) We recognized the possibility of the projection and we know that the image became more clear when it is moved.
