Characteristic Analysis by Type of the Barrier-Free in Japanese Museums

Abstract

This study considered the actual conditions of various problems of the barrier free in Japanese museums. In addition, I show the concrete directivity of barrier free plan in future museum. As the method, (1) Principal component analysis and cluster analysis were applied, and the categorization of actual condition of the barrier free in Japanese museums. (2) The relationship between characteristics of the typology and each barrier free correspondence situation of four got here was analyzed by cross sum method. As a result, I got four directivity for barrier free plan promotion in the following in future museum. It is four of next. (1) The activation of the barrier free by the utilization of human resources. (2) That the barrier free of information of the museum is mainly promoted. (3) It strengthens barrier-free take measures for the visually handicapped. (4) The enhancement of the consciousness for barrier free of the museum staff member. These do not ask the typology, and it is an important thing which is necessary to barrier free plan promotion in future museum.
