Abstract
The purpose of this study is clarifying necessary conditions of effective eco-indications on domestic appliances that help use them ecologically. The necessary conditions for refrigerator were clarified in the last thesis.
This thesis examine whether the same conditions can be applicable to the other domestic appliances or not. For this examination, 2 high energy consumption domestic appliances, TV and AC (Air Conditioner), are selected and considered how users' motivation and attitude change with/without eco-indications. It was confirmed that the necessity of careful selection of "IN PUT display" (visualizing a user"s activity) or "OUT PUT display" (visualizing the result of a user's activity) by a user's interest and characteristics of each appliance. On the other hand, it was revealed we couldn't get the effect of quick feedback without the consideration for visibility, understandability and appropriate changes.
