Abstract
What is known of Peru and his educational system is little compared to the information concern to education in Britain or North America. This paper starts with a brief presentation of Peru, its educational system, its problems and needs. Most problems to be presented here are deeply influenced by the Inca and Spanish cultures and have not changed for more than 500 years. Peruvians may and should use experiences of other countries like Japan to expand and modernize education through out the country.
