Abstract
A web-based teaching system was used in a large class that has limited Internet infrastructure in a university. The system was used as a supplementary material for teaching in a traditional class. The usage of WBT by students was employed to explain study performance that was measured by points of final examination. Usage of WBT has significant correlation to points of final examination. We estimated a multiple regression model that explains points of final examination by usage of WBT and class attendance data. Class attendance, as a measure of students' effort, has significant effect on student performance, but usage of WBT doesn't. Multi-colinearity was not found.
