Abstract
In a case of Crohn's disease with intractable ulceration around the ileostoma who undergone subtotal colectomy, the relationship among ulceration period, general condition and Crohn's disease activity was studied.
The results suggest that the ulcerntion around the ileostoma was influenced not only by leak of feces, but also by nutritional condition and Crohn's disease activity.
To prevent the ulceration, good management or the general condition of the patient is necessary along with pertinent caring ileostoma.
