Abstract
In this paper, we will present the outline of Semantic Web and its technical layers. The current Web consists mainly of documents which are meant be read by people, whereas the Semantic Web aims to build a Web space of meanings (or semantic information). By handling semantic information, Web data can be processable by machines, so that various currently time consuming operations can be automated. In this paper, we will outline the world which Semantic Web tries to build, and we will also present the building component technologies of Semantic Web.
