Abstract
We had used dictionary when we want to investigate unknown term.When we look up technical term, we don't have technicaldictionary probably. In this paper, we proposed the method of generating technical termexplanation using web, and automatic term recognition from technicalpapers.Proposed method for automatic term recognition is characterized byusing template and processing unknown term.The feature of the method for generating explanation is scoring forexplanation candidate using extracted related terms.As the result of experiment, we could get 412 technical terms that are not in common dictionary from 68 papers.And, we could generate correctly explanation for 22 among 30 termswhich have each common concept using our method.
