This study compared the observed path flows and the estimated path flows for the period before and after the bus exclusive lane regulation was implemented in Miyazaki City. The aggregated probe vehicle data was utilized as the observed path flows. As a result, we confirmed the common tendency in February, after the implementation of the bus exclusive lane regulation, that the path flows not only in the bus exclusive lane regulation section but also in the vicinity of the regulation section decreased during the regulation period while the path flows in the regulation section increased during the period before and after the regulation period. We also confirmed the different tendency that the observed path flows on toll roads located further away from the regulation section increased while the estimated path flows on that section did not increased during the regulated period after the implementation of the bus exclusive lane regulation.
