Abstract
The stroke is divided into the acute period, the convalescence period, and the maintenance period from a rehabilitation point of view. We must construct stroke network by function differentiation and referral system. We take much difficulty to referral system, but can solve many problems of stroke. Liaison critical pathway for stroke appeared as one means of the referral system. “Illness” becomes the object for the acute period, “obstacle” for the convalescence, and “life” for the maintenance period. Two pillars of “continuity of the treatment” and “the continuity of the rehabilitation” are necessary for the stroke referral system.
