Abstract
In this article, the authors reviewed the historical aspects and the concepts of clinical pathways for local network in Japanese health system. Furthermore, the authors described how they including Kitakyushu Medical Association, the University of Occupational and Environmental Health and Kitakyushu City, cooperate and how they form the system of clinical pathway for local network in Kitakyushu City, in which about one million people live in southern part of Japan.
