Abstract

The open surgical repair is still a first-line treatment for the abdominal aortic aneurysm in the endovascular era. We should have various knowledge of the procedure including the transperitoneal and retroperitoneal approach to improve the surgical skill. Herein, the procedure steps, knack and pitfall, and the review of the outcomes were described.
