Indication of endovascular surgery for chronic venous insufficiency and varicose veins are decided by precise clinical information and duplex findings. Even though presence of primary varicose vein or partial reflux of saphenous vein are diagnosed, it does not mean indication of endovascular surgery. Because endothermal ablation of varicose veins is less invasive surgery, it tends to overused.
