Abstract
One of the challenges faced by sewage systems is to reduce the risk of flooding, and for this purpose, it is necessary to analyze the current state of flood forecasting. Stormwater runoff analysis in large-scale pipeline networks, including trunk lines, is being carried out diligently, and there are many practical achievements in planning and design. However, it is considered that small-scale pipeline networks that do not include trunk lines have not been compiled as general-purpose knowledge. In this study, we clarified that by adopting a network analysis visualization method for the analysis of a complex small-scale pipeline network, it is possible to spatially and intuitively grasp the risk of inundation, derive potential and structural issues in the pipeline network, and clarify the areas where downstream obstruction is likely to occur and the vulnerable range of the pipeline network as a whole. The method presented in this study enables efficient renewal and reconstruction of pipes to reduce the risk of inundation.
