Abstract
High efficiency energy recovery system is required for small scale garbage incineration facilities, that is, capacity is less than 200t/d. For this requirement, a combination system of Dry Anaerobic Composting with incineration system is considered as an effective method. "Test Project Of High Efficient And Advanced Dry Anaerobic Composting", commissioned by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, is carried out by Hotaka Kouiki Shisetsu Community in order to demonstrate its effectiveness of new sorted collection system, high energy recovery efficiency, etc. The ratio of food waste to paper in collected garbage was 1:0.5. Biogas production from 1ton garbage was maximum 338Nm3/t, averaged 244Nm3/t. Electric generating capacity using all of biogas was 5,800kWh/week.
