A study on thermal degradation phenomena in the mixed fuel of waste wood

Abstract

In order to increase the value of solid fuel, it is necessary to control heat release rate during combustion, decrease amount of soot and char residue, and improve storing stability. To achieve this goal, thermal degradeation and combustion properties and storing stability were investigated by using simulated biomass fuel made from waste wood and polyethylene and controlled combution heat.
