Abstract
Enlarging Leivs Almy's equation of filtering upon deckers and vacuum washers, the writer has deduced an equation of dewatering appliable to those, and has applied consistency charts No. 93 and 94 in Manufacture of Pulp and Paper Vol. III. to the above deduced equation, discussing about the formula.
Giving a few numerical examples, he has explained the efficiencies of deckers and vacuum washers.
