Abstract

KROFTA SANDFLOAT is one complete unit consisting of flotation (DAF), sandfiltolation and backwash system in one tank. KROFTA SANDFLOAT tolerates suspended soldis load heaver than conventional sandfilter.
As a first installation in Japan, Krofta sandfloat model 18 was started up in July '95. This sandfloat is adopting new paper machine's white water recovery system for excess & press part white water.
