Abstract
No marked interesting developments appeared at the booths for Fiber Manufacturing Machinery in the 3rd OTEMAS compared with ITMA'83.
One of the main trends of the exhibits this time was the quest for further automation and higher quality to answer the recent demands for the production of a smaller quantity of products of a wider variety. This shows that the efforts to introduce the technology of electronics will make a profitable return for machine makers.
