Abstract

The object of this study was to clarify trace element cycling on soli-feed-dairy cattle in the standard model of dairy farm in Japan. Except for Fe, trace elements ingestion from purchased feed of the cow herd were generally larger than that from self-sufficing feed. Since the secretions into milk and body accumulation of trace elements were remarkably smaller than those ingestion, trace elements excretion were almost the same as those ingestion. Thus, large amounts of trace elements were accumulated in the soil from the out 6f the model of dairy farm.
