Abstract
Temperature and heat transfer distributions around a promoter in a parallel-plate-channel were studied experimentally by applying the thermosensitive liquid crystal film. Temperature distribution on the heating surface around the promoter was visualized as multi-colored pattern of isotherms. Heat transfer distribution was analyzed quantitatively from the measured colored pattern.
