Abstract
A finite elment method is applied in solving laminar ventilating flow inside a square chamber having one inlet and one outlet. The results are obtained for P r=0.7, Re=1-50, G r=0.1 and 10, and typical examples are shown in the form of streamlines and isothermal lines. Nonlinear effects of Reynolds number and Grashof number upon the Nusselt number are explained.
