In this review paper, the system of International Standards as well as Japanese Industrial Standards and their relation are summarized to introduce how these standards and specifications are established under International Standards Organization or Japanese Industrial Standards Committee. The present situations and movements of the vacuum related standards are also briefly explained for those who are using or planning to use them.
