Abstract

A lot of solders are used by the joining of Flexible Flat Cable (FPC). However, the high speed bonding without using solder is required for reduction of emission. In this study, lap joining of FPC is achieved by magnetic pressure welding. A complete weld can be observed by microscope without an insulating layer of FPC melt.
