Influence of the applying method of the electrode force on the occurrence of spattering in the resistance spot welding process

Abstract

In general, the set values of welding current and electrode force are used to express the boundary condition of spattering. The value of force varies during welding due to thermal expansion. Therefore, the boundary condition is influenced by the method of applying force of the welder.
