Abstract

In order to evolve the mechanical property of titanium weld-metal by controlling microstructure, understanding the microstructure formation including solidification and solid-state phase transformation is essential. In the present work, mechanism of solid-state phase transformation (beta-alpha phase transformation) under rapid cooling rate of welding was mainly discussed.
