The objective of this study is development of welding procedure to elevate the productivity and prevent the fracture of plate.
The main factor in deterioration laser welding quality with high carbon steel are hardening and making porosity at welded joint. We can improve the welding quality by the low carbon welding consumable, heat treatment and enforcing reduction in thickness.
